Mid-Level International Tender Specialist

A Mid-Level International Tender Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering process for international projects. This includes analyzing tender requirements, preparing competitive proposals, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory standards. The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to secure successful bids in a competitive global market

Key Responsibilities

1- Tender Analysis and Preparation:

    • Analyze tender documents (RFPs, RFQs, ITTs) to understand client
      requirements
    • Review contractual terms, technical specifications, and financial
      aspects.
    • Prepare comprehensive technical and financial proposals aligned with client demands.

2- Coordination and Collaboration:

  • Craft personalized and compelling proposals tailored to the client’s needs.
  • Highlight the company’s value proposition to increase the chances of securing projects

3- Cost Estimation and Risk Assessment:

    • Develop accurate cost estimates for proposed projects or services.
    • Identify risks associated with tender requirements and propose
      mitigation strategies.

4- Compliance and Documentation:

    • Ensure all submissions comply with client specifications, industry standards, and legal regulations.
    • Maintain organized records of tenders, contracts, and correspondence
      for future reference.

5- Market Research and Strategy Development:

    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to enhance bidding strategies.
    • Conduct supplier and competitor analysis to optimize pricing and proposal competitiveness.

6- Post-Tender Activities:

    • Participate in contract negotiations to finalize terms with clients.
    • Provide handovers to operational teams for project execution after
      successful bids.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a
      related field.
    • 3–5 years of experience in tender management or a similar role.
    • Strong understanding of international bidding processes and contract
      management.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional
      languages are a plus.
    • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines while maintaining
      attention to detail.

Skills Required:

    • Analytical thinking to evaluate tender documents and prepare competitive
      proposals.
    • Strong negotiation skills for dealing with clients, suppliers, and
      subcontractors.
    • Organizational skills to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
