Zeki Expert Solutions partnered with Thumbnail Arena to build a next-gen platform for thumbnail creators. The system supports AI-powered thumbnail feedback, creator communities, tournaments, voting battles, leaderboards, and subscription-based features. Built with Next.js, Node.js/NestJS, and AWS, the platform allows creators to showcase their work, compete in tournaments, and receive AI insights, all within an intuitive, scalable, and secure interface.

Thumbnail Arena selected Zeki Expert Solutions for our expertise in building scalable, community-driven platforms with AI integrations. The client needed a system that combined creative collaboration, competitive tournaments, and AI insights while being flexible enough to adapt to new features. Creators wanted more than a gallery, they wanted a platform that motivates, educates, and connects. Thumbnail Arena needed AI-driven feedback, community engagement, and tournament mechanics in one seamless experience.
Building the Community & Creator Ecosystem
We created a fully role-based community module allowing end users, admins, and super admins to interact. Communities can be created, joined, updated, and managed from a centralized dashboard. Users act as admins within their own communities, while super admins maintain oversight across all communities. About 50–60% of the platform was refactored to support this decentralized model, ensuring flexibility and scalability.
Designing Tournament Flow & Leaderboards
Our team implemented tournament structures including niche-based competitions, 1v1 matchups, and real-time progression metrics. Submissions are tracked with metadata, while automated bracket generation ensures fair competitions. Leaderboards aggregate results from ongoing tournaments and global stats, highlighting top performers and trending creators. This system keeps users engaged and provides transparent ranking metrics.
Voting, AI Feedback, and Premium Features
The battle system allows one vote per user per matchup, with vote history and stats tracked in real-time. AI modules provide actionable insights on thumbnail quality, compare submissions to high-performing references, and offer basic generation capabilities. Premium users access advanced AI features and analytics, while subscription logic governs tournament eligibility and gated content.
Scalable Architecture & Future-Proofing
The platform leverages Next.js, Node.js/NestJS, and AWS for reliable performance. Role-based permissions and modular components allow easy addition of new features. The system supports global traffic surges, secure authentication, and future expansion to include advanced AI models and additional creative competitions.
